Year 1 student Kyesha Graham cantered to a series of wins at the recent Blackbutt Show.
On her miniature horse Wanda, Kyesha took three first prizes, a second, two thirds and a fourth, taking a swag of ribbons for her efforts.
Kyesha scooped first prizes in the Pony Hack 14 Hands and Riders 12 years and Under (Local Classes), and in Riders 8 year and Under (Restricted Classes).
Her second place was in the Led Pony 14 Hands and Under (Restricted Classes), with two third prizes for Beginner Pony – Galloway or Hack and Pleasure Pony – Galloway and Hack in the Restricted Classes.
She also took fourth place as Best Presented – Ridden (Restricted Classes).
For Kyesha, it’s all about her horse Wanda.
“She’s a miniature horse and she is so cute,’’ said Kyesha. “She is white and gold.”
Kyesha says horse riding is fun.
“I like the walk, trot and canter on Wanda. I feed her hay, carrots and apples to keep her happy and healthy.”
